Witsieshoek Mountain Lodge overlooks Drakensberg's Amphitheatre. It's the trailhead to hike to the top of Tugela Falls and back in one day. The Lodge has over 80kms of day-hikes from the front door and is a hiking paradise. Mountain Biking along some of the trails is also popular.

The Lodge has three standards of accommodation with the premier en-suite rooms offering floor-to-ceiling views onto the Amphitheatre. There is a selection of standard units that have interleading doors, allowing families to create double room units.

Meals are served in the restaurant, and there's a convivial pub and lounge with TV are open to all guests. Cappucino is available along with the Lodge's legendary hot chocolate.
